Give students a hands-on opportunity to study animal science, poultry care, biology, agriculture, nutrition, and responsible animal husbandry through the care and observation of backyard chickens.
This chicken coop provides a dedicated environment for students to observe chickens in their daily routines while learning what animals need to remain healthy, safe, and well cared for.
๐ Educational Purpose
Students will use the chicken coop as part of a hands-on Poultry Science & Animal Husbandry study. Through caring for chickens, students can learn about animal needs, behavior, nutrition, life cycles, egg production, habitat requirements, and the role of poultry in agriculture and food production.
The project allows students to move beyond textbook learning and apply science concepts through daily observation, record keeping, measurement, and animal care.

This outdoor chicken coop features approximately 73.4" ร 24.2" ร 43.2" overall dimensions and is designed for approximately 3โ4 adult chickens. It includes enclosed housing, an outdoor run, nesting area, ramp, wheels for mobility, and a pull-out tray for easier cleaning.
The movable design can also support rotational placement and outdoor habitat management, giving students an opportunity to learn how environmental conditions and habitat management affect animal care.
